It is a practice I have utilised throughout my life, forming a deep appreciation towards it, so much so that I now use it to help others.

As a single mum, I know being a single mum is no easy feat. It’s a role that comes with many challenges and can be overwhelming. Whether you’re a single mother by choice or circumstance, you know all too well the daily struggles. The list of demands can seem endless, from balancing work and parenting responsibilities to finding emotional support and navigating co-parenting relationships.

It demonstrates your strength and determination to create a better life for yourself and your loved ones.
  • It is not about being “crazy”: Counseling is not solely for those experiencing severe mental health issues. It is for anyone who wants to enhance their emotional well-being, overcome challenges, or gain a new perspective on life. You just need the desire to grow and thrive.
  • It is not about being judged: Counselors are trained professionals who strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for you. Their role is to listen, support, and guide you without passing judgment. So, feel free to open up and share your thoughts and feelings; your counsellor is there to help, not criticise.
